DOWN TO EARTH
Final pieces of the residency and project TERRA_Tory, commissioned by Fabrikaat.
Based on the results of our research TERRA-TORY, we developed a series of water jugs. The colored bodies and the function represent the quality of the Nijmegen clay. Using different firing temperatures, the carafe shows the incredible variation of colors of the clay. The terra sigillata applied on the outside creates a protective layer and the shapes are inspired by the past styles.
