Dripping research
For 3 months we did a residency at the European Ceramic Work Center in Oisterwijk, The Netherlands.
Our aim was to research and improve our Moca dripping technique and find new ways of using it.
During the residency we improved our ceramic skills, production processes and overall quality. This knowledge was used to develop our business and prepare our new brand Moca Tableware.
We further developed the dripping technique and machine: we created stronger shapes by changing the dripping materials to stoneware and porcelain. We also unlocked some new ideas and possibilities for working on 2D patterns by improving the hardwares and codes.
Furthermore, during the residency, Catawiki asked us to create a new collection of pieces for a show in Milan (See Reflective Midnight). We took the opportunity to be at the EKWC to make them and learn new clay hand-building skills.
